MKVcleaver is an application which works as a GUI for MKVToolnix. Using it you can extract audio, video, subtitles, and other data from from a MKV Container file. As the name suggests, Portable MKVcleaver is a program that only works with Matroska files. The program has a simple user interface that is quite easy to figure out. You can load the files. MKVToolnix is a set of tools to create, alter and inspect Matroska files under Linux, other Unices and Windows. They do for Matroska what the OGMtools do for the OGM.
